I am all for dungeon crawls (when the mood hits, I mean sometimes you just want to kick the crap out of stuff without all those minor irritants like story, plot development or reason).

        I am all for Anime.

        I am all for RPG's.

        I am all for Capcom.

You would think that if you took all four of these things and put them into one product you would produce something that was a no brainer for me.

A Reeses' Peanut Butter Cup of gaming it's not.

Somehow Capcom put all of these things together and forgot one very important ingredient.  Fun.

As much as I want to, I can't say too many good things about the game besides it has an interesting visual style and it's doesn't cause actual pain.  Other than that it's what I would refer to as an anti-game.  It's not something you play, it's something you chore through.

On the flip side, I could fill pages on what is bad about the game.  However, I don't have the desire or the motivation to spend anymore time on this than I already have.

Even though there are better ways to pass the time, there are also worse.  I didn't hit the "Well it's not getting any better." point for a few hours and prior to that there was some glimmer of enjoyment.  So while I can't recommend it as a whole, I also can't say you should stay away from it altogether.  You might find some redeeming quality that I wasn't able to. (shrug)

In an attempt to beef up this site I have added a games section.  Going to be mini-reviews (well mini-mini-reviews.  Too lazy to do anything more than give you my thoughts on a product without breaking it down into every single positive or negative) and other random game related things.
